for families & senior citizens
The starting points of the two well-developed adventure hiking trails in the Garmisch-Classic area are easily accessible via the Alpspitzbahn cable car.
Summit Adventure Trail
for families, seniors and newbie hikers
A short circular trail with informative, quiz-like stations on the flora, fauna and geology around the Osterfelderkopf.
- Parking: Kreuzeckbahn / Alpspitzbahn valley station
- How to get there: Alpspitzbahn cable car
- Starting and ending point: Alpspitzbahn mountain station
- Length: 700 m
- Level of difficulty: easy, suitable for families

- Refreshment stops: Restaurant Alpspitze and Kandahar 2 (Kreuzeckbahn valley station)
Note: The Summit Adventure Trail is only accessible in summer after the snow has melted.
Garmisch-Classic adventure world
Please note: Due to construction work, the Hochalmbahn cable car is expected to be out of service until the end of August 2023. The Hochalmweg between Hochalm and Kreuzeck is also only partially accessible. Therefore, in summer 2023, only the summit adventure trail will be set up.
